SAN FRANCISCO, April 6, 2015— ConnectSolutions (CoSo), the trusted private-cloud solutions provider for Adobe Connect and Skype for Business, today announced that the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) has officially recognized its CoSo FedRAMP private-cloud solution as a SaaS Cloud System that is in process for agency authorization.
The CoSo Cloud for unified communications, already being used by 25 government agencies and more than a million end users, is a secure, reliable private-cloud solution designed to protect the mission-critical communication and collaboration occurring over Microsoft Skype for Business and Adobe Connect. Once FedRAMP certified, ConnectSolutions will be officially recognized by the US government as a cloud service provider that meets the most stringent of security requirements in government today.

FedRAMP is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services designed to help government. Its primary goal is to help government agencies migrate to the cloud in a secure manner by endorsing the names of cloud service providers that have met rigorous testing and are certified to meet the government’s stringent security standards. FedRAMP is the result of close collaboration with cybersecurity and cloud experts from the General Services Administration (GSA), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Defense (DOD), National Security Agency (NSA), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the Federal Chief Information Officer (CIO) Council and its working groups.
